Not asking for money, just some equipment and old things you might have that you could donate or sell cheap

Hello all, I am a mother of 3 beautiful kids and I have a wonderful hard working husband. We have not lived in Cave City,Ky long, but we fell in love with this town and are wanting to make this our home. It has been a lifetime dream for me to be able to start my own business and now we have a chance. We have a building, which was once an ice cream store years ago. Cave City does not have a place to get ice cream and we know, from lots of the people in this town, that one is needed here and we really believe this would be a business that would flourish, but we could really use any help we can get. We do not have alot of money and we are trying to start this new business up with nothing but the building and a cash register that was donated to us. We have also received shelfs, which I will also display art on(another dream was to have a place to sell my paintings at) What we are mainly needing is either some local businesses to step- up and help our business. We could use an ice cream freezer cart that holds 8 tubs or more,an upright freezer for extra storing or any other kind of freezer,we also could use old rustic tables and chairs(preferably wooden) and even old pic nic tables. Anything that would help get started would so much be appreciated. We have already received alittle help from people around this area and recieved a new toilet and sink so we can re-install a new bathroom. We could use two by fours to re-build 2 walls of the bathroom that was removed and never put back in.Like I said we are a small business and a family just trying to better our lives. In return,we would like to help someone after we get up running. Maybe we can host a business party for you and your employees and serve you free ice cream,or maybe we can help advertise your business. This day and time we know and we feel that if businesses helped businesses,it could help alot of us out.We have started building a Fan page on Facebook called Businesses helping businesses, which will be up and running soon.We have made several friends who are bussiness owners and who have helped steer people my way for art and we help them by mentioning these businesses on blogs. We live in a very small town and the building we have will be a building we can live upstairs, which will greatly help us financially. Our building is in a very good location as well. We are surrounded by 6 motels and several attraction places. One would think with a town having several wonderful places to see and visit such as Jelly Stone Park,Jesse James riding stables, a 150 foot zip-line going down the mountain,Dinososaur World and several wonderful trails and caves that there would be a little shop to drop by for an ice cream, but there is not. This is why we know, without a doubt, that we can make it work with a little help. I am not asking for money, just old materialistic things that we just can't afford right now.We are 2 months on rent because there are no jobs and I have not been able to drive due to Adies Syndrome, which has gradually been getting worse over the years. The only thing I have left is my art and my family. So please if there are any Ky people, people from Tennesee or Indiana who may could help us get some of these things we need to get us on our feet, please let me know. Even if it a box of nails, little things we may could use to start our little establishment,we would be very greatful.Maybe you are a small bussiness loaner and could help us by getting a small business loan.( we found one who tried to rip us off) So we need someone who will not take us for granted and take our money to get a business loan. Okay, well, I have thrown this out there to all of you and I pray that anyone can help. God Bless you all

About MaplewoodKids

My wife and I own a childcare center in McKeesport, PA.  This area is a lower income area so we provide childcare at reduced rates by not being a franchise. We provide a center that offers QUALITY childcare that enriches children's lives and encourages an education-centric, accomplishment based future.  We operate from an old school building that offers 8 available classrooms, and indoor gym and 3 outdoor playgrounds.  These sorts of facilities and our curriculum is just not offered in this area, especially with our family owned atmosphere.  Still, we are looking to improve and expand.  We are interested in acquiring another center in the Homstead area, an area similiar to McKeesport, as well as expand our program to include preschool services and a covered outdoor building.

About tf1582

I am a 41 year old disabled woman (have had two spine surgeries and my doctors now tell me I need me at least two more).  At 41 and soon to be grandmother for the second time, this should be some of the best years of my life.  In my current medical and financial condition, I will not be able to visit my son and daughter-in-law for the birth of my granddaughter.  My previous surgeries were fusions of the neck and low back and since those surgeries I have developed scoliosis in the middle of my back, which is why I want no further surgeries.  I fear what will develop if I get more surgeries.  The scoliosis was nonexistant before the previous surgeries and it is very painful.  Now my doctors want to operate and tighten the existing hardware they put in (to do this the low back surgery is much more difficult) and there is a new ruptured disc in my neck so they have to add that into the existing 3 discs that have been fused and tighten that site as well.  I know there will come a time when I will tire of the pain and submit to at least two of the three surgeries, but until then I am looking to start my own business to support myself and wait for the social security appeal to be granted or, with God's help, my business will be successful I will not need social security.  My state disability has run out and I have absolutely no income whatsoever.  I have no idea what January 2009 will hold for me.  I just need information to help start a business.  I love to cook!  I want to try to open a family restaurant.  I've never had any formal training, but cooking has been a life long passion and dream of mine.  At 41 this is my opportunity to finally have a career that I love.  I want to take that chance.  I am told that it will take social security anywhere from a year to a year and half to hear my appeal.  It is amazing, my doctors have told social security I need at least two of the three surgeries and I cannot work, but with the economy as it is I've also been told that social security is making most people who request disability benefits file an appeal.  I say it is amazing because in 2003 (my previous spine surgeries), social security put me on disability almost immediately.  However, in 2007/2008 there has been nothing but denial after denial.

Anyway, I have to live while I am awaiting the decision on the appeal and it is my time to take a chance on my dreams.  I am looking for a grant that does not require me to purchase a program to apply for these grants or shipping fees.  I have found grants for women and to start a new business, but I don't know how to find out if I qualify for the grant or how to find out unless I either pay for the shipping or the program to apply for the grants.  I have deleted everything I can think to free space, but it is not working for me.  Any grants for a new computer (if any exists) would also help me.  There has to be sites online that help people without a charge or a minimal fee.  I just can't find them.  If you know of a site please let me know what it is.  I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!

Please e-mail me at tf1582@gmail.com or post a reply.

Thanks again!

Need help finding capital for new Business

Need some sort of funding and/or capital to start our business.  No problem staying in business, just need funding to get started.  It would be to start up a Flag Car business which is a poptenial multi-million dollar business.  We are hard workers and know we can make a go of it and have been in the business for several years, but working for other people.  Our credit though, is not so good, but if anyone would consider a loan, there would be no problem paying it off within 5 years or less. We need $100,000 but would settle for half that to start with.  Would just take us longer to get where we want to be.  Have tried everything to get the capital but without success, hence this ad.  If anyone can help, please email us, thanks.
